1. Who we are

"Proven Path Academy" (PPA) is a trading name of LCSI Pty Ltd, a private company registered in the Republic of South Africa. "We", "us" and "our" refer to LCSI Pty Ltd. References to "you" mean any person booking, attending or browsing the website.

2. Acceptance of these terms

Booking a course, RSVPing to an event or using the website constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept any part of them, please do not book.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to book a seat in your own name. Corporate bookings on behalf of employees imply the booking party has authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of the attendees.

4. Bookings and payment

• All bookings are made via our online checkout, currently powered by Paystack. Card payments are handled directly by Paystack — we do not store card details.
• Prices on the website are in South African Rand (ZAR), TTC (VAT-inclusive at 15%). A tax invoice is available on request.
• A booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received and Paystack has issued the receipt.
• Discount codes are single-use, time-limited and subject to the conditions printed on the code.

5. Cancellations, transfers and refunds

Our cancellation, transfer and refund rules are set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Code of conduct during sessions

To protect the experience of every delegate in a 16-seat cohort, attendees agree to:

• Arrive on time and remain for the full session.
• Engage respectfully with the trainer and fellow attendees.
• Refrain from recording the session (audio, video, screen) without explicit written permission.
• Refrain from soliciting business from other attendees during course hours.
• Comply with the venue's house rules (Workshop 17 or other).

PPA reserves the right to ask any delegate to leave a session — without refund — if their conduct is disruptive, abusive or unlawful.

7. Intellectual property

All course materials — slide decks, exercise sheets, certificate templates, reference cards, brochures, the running-case data and supporting documents — are © LCSI Pty Ltd and licensed by LCSI Pty Ltd to Proven Path Academy. The materials are licensed to you, the delegate, for your personal, internal-business use only.

You may not, without prior written permission from LCSI Pty Ltd: reproduce or copy PPA materials beyond personal use; redistribute, resell, or sublicense PPA materials; train another instructor or develop a competing programme from PPA materials; or use PPA brand assets (logos, course names, designs) other than to attribute or refer to PPA.

8. Certificates

A PPA certificate of completion is awarded to delegates who attend the full session and pass the end-of-day knowledge check at the published pass mark. Certificates are personal to the named delegate and may not be transferred or resold.

9. Limitation of liability

PPA endeavours to deliver every course to the standard described on the website. However, in no event shall LCSI Pty Ltd, its directors, employees or trainers be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your attendance at a PPA course, your use of PPA materials, or your use of any AI tool or workflow you build during or after a course. Our total liability is in any event limited to the amount you paid for the affected booking.

10. AI tools and outputs

PPA courses involve the use of third-party AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Gemini, NotebookLM, Notion AI and others). These tools are operated by their respective providers under their own terms. PPA is not responsible for the availability, accuracy or output of any third-party tool. Delegates are responsible for ensuring their use of these tools complies with their employer's policies, applicable laws and the providers' terms.

11. POPIA & data privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

12. Variations

PPA may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect on the date of a booking applies to that booking. Material changes will be communicated to existing bookings by email where applicable.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Western Cape High Court, Cape Town, in respect of any matter arising from these Terms.
