Refund & cancellation policy.
Clear, fair and consistent with what other professional-training providers offer in South Africa. The short version: bookings are non-refundable, but they are transferable and you can send a substitute.
1. Bookings are non-refundable
All bookings made via our Paystack payment page are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required under applicable law.
2. You can transfer your booking to a future session
If you can no longer attend the date you booked, you may transfer your seat to a future PPA session of the same course, subject to availability and the following timing:
- 15 or more calendar days before the session: free of charge.
To request a transfer, email info@proven-path-academy.com with your booking reference and the session you'd like to move to.
3. You can send a substitute
A delegate may be substituted at no cost up to 7 days before the session start time. Send the substitute's full name and email to info@proven-path-academy.com. The substitute must be at the same skill level (e.g. for AI at Scale, they must meet the same prerequisite as the original delegate).
4. No-shows
If a booked delegate does not attend the session and no transfer or substitution was arranged in advance, the booking is forfeited and no credit or refund is issued.
5. If PPA cancels or postpones a session
If Proven Path Academy cancels or postpones a session for any reason (low enrolment, trainer illness, venue unavailability, force majeure), affected delegates may choose one of:
- A 100% refund of the amount paid, processed within 5 business days, or
- A transfer to a future session of the same course at no charge, or
- A credit to apply to a different PPA course of equal or lesser value, valid for 12 months.
6. Force majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control — natural disaster, government order, pandemic restrictions, infrastructure failure, etc. — PPA will postpone the affected session and offer the same options listed in clause 5. Force majeure does not entitle delegates to refunds beyond the clause-5 options.
7. Corporate bookings & in-house training
Corporate and in-house training arrangements are governed by a separate signed quotation/contract, which supersedes this policy where applicable.
8. Discount codes
Discount codes are single-use, time-limited and non-transferable. Discounted bookings remain subject to all clauses above. The discount value is calculated on the price actually paid, not the standard rate.
9. Disputes
If you believe a refund or credit is owed to you and you wish to dispute the application of this policy, please email info@proven-path-academy.com within 14 days of the session. We will respond within 5 business days.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The policy that applies to a booking is the policy in force on the date the booking was made.
